"One Day I Slowly Floated Away"

As promised, I have a little story that I remembered while I was floating on the lazy river at the water park last week! And it has been WAY too long since I've posted something in my:
Our family went to Schlitterbahn about three or four years ago, and Cody & I were enjoying The Torrent. It's like a lazy river on steroids ~ it has a couple of big waves, and if you catch them right you'll go pretty far. I usually prefer to ride on top of the tube, but for some reason I wasn't doing that at the time of this particular incident. I had my legs straight down through the tube & only my upper body was above water. {This is relevant, I promise!}
There was a teenage boy swimming nearby with his girlfriend, and he went under water right as we approached the big wave. I was leaning back against the inside of the tube with my arms on the handles when I caught the wave. It carried me pretty far, and I came down off the wave right as the teenage boy was coming to the surface...inside my innertube!!
I had seen it coming, but there wasn't really anything I could do to avoid it. So there we were, suddenly face to face in my tube! He looked at me all shocked and flustered & said, "Oh my gosh! Sorry!" real quickly before he went back underwater & swam over to his girlfriend! He looked back over at me & apologized again. I was laughing so hard that I could barely say, "It's OK. We're cool."
For the rest of the day, I would occasionally think of it & bust out laughing! Have you ever had somebody pop up inside your innertube? Or some other embarrassing water park moment? I'd love to hear your stories!!
