"Space Oddity"

It's Spring Break around here, so the kids & I met my brother and his family (& half of Houston) at the Space Center yesterday!
Everyone had a great time! (Though, maybe the kids would've enjoyed themselves more if we didn't keep making them pose in front of stuff!)
My friend Misty works for NASA & gave us a tour. We went where the tram tours go (the Space Shuttle Flight Control Room & the Space Vehicle Mockup Facility), plus the ISS Flight Control Room. It was really interesting to learn more about the day-to-day operations on the International Space Station & the roles of the flight controllers here on Earth. Here's our group at the Mockup Facility:
