"You Are Here"
(by NEEDTOBREATHE)
This week has been another busy {but good} week! I finally got into the Christmas spirit & did some shopping! {RRMama will be glad to know that I've already wrapped the presents I've bought!} I've also done a bit of baking & plan to do even more next week! MOPS had a cookie exchange & Christmas light scavenger hunt one night this week, and my team won for the 2nd year in a row! :)
Today was one of those days when I went from one thing to the next, to the next, and then to the next...First, I had a sorta bittersweet breakfast with friends as we said goodbye to our friend (who is moving back to Canada). Then I caught the tail end of my little neighbor's birthday party. From there, I took my girl to a birthday party & met up with my friend Misty for her wedding dress fitting!! And after that, our Community Group met at our house for a Christmas party {where three out of the six couples brought jalepeño dishes! Sorry, Felicity! Next time, we might should specify exactly what we're making!!} I may or may not have an interesting picture to show y'all later. It may or may not involve me, tighty-whiteys, tramp stamps, &/or none of the above. I'd have to say the best part of the night was the piano sing-along that included Christmas songs, beat-boxing & mouth horns, 80's tunes, some Motown, & a little Justin Bieber! :D
I don't know if this makes me a nerd or what, but I earned another badge on youversion!
{I created 100 bookmarks. I had no idea one could earn a badge for this, or I might've tried harder!}
The other day on facebook, one of my high school classmates asked what song we would listen to if we could only listen to one song all day. My response was "Valley of Tomorrow" by NTB, which made me want to listen to them. So other than Christmas music, I've only been listening to Needtobreathe this week. Today's song is the one that put a little spark of love in my heart for NTB. Back in 2006, it was on a little CD that was free with the purchase of another CD {gotta love free music ~ especially when it helps you discover an amazing band!} Back to my classmate's question...the "correct" answer (according to Robert) was Journey's "Don't Stop Believing"! So now I pose the question to YOU: if you could only listen to one song all day, what would it be?
