"1, 2, 3, 4"
(by Plain White T's)
"1, 2 (1, 2, 3, 4)
Give me more lovin' than I've ever had
Make it all better when I'm feelin' sad
Tell me that I'm special even when I know I'm not
Make me feel good when I hurt so bad
Barely gettin' mad
Pre-Chorus:
I'm so glad I found you
I love bein' around you
You make it easy
As easy as 1, 2 (1, 2, 3, 4)
Chorus:
There's only one thing two do three words four you
I love you (I love you)
There's only one way two say those three words
And that's what I'll do
I love you (I love you)
Give me more lovin' from the very start
Piece me back together when I fall apart
Tell me things you never even tell your closest friends
Make me feel good when I hurt so bad
Best that I've had
Pre-Chorus
Chorus..."
This is my 14th Valentine's Day with my mister. I still wear the sweet little ring he gave me on our very first Valentine's Day! I have worn it almost every day {except for the few months that it was lost in my Caboodles case! Jana, you were there when I found it at the Break Thru retreat! Remember how excited I was?!} It's not that it's fancy or expensive. I don't even think the diamond is big enough to measure. But, it's special to me. I received it about 5 1/2 months before our wedding and the day after Christopher's mother had passed away. His parents had been married a week shy of 20 years, & their love was what I wanted for us: for better or for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health...Sorry to get all sappy ~ but it's Valentine's Day, so give me a break! We plan to give the ring to Elizabeth one of these days, maybe when she turns 13? Not sure.
This year, instead of gifts, we get to meet our medical insurance deductible! {Whoop whoop! I can just hear the conversation later this week, "So, Amy, what did your mister get you for Valentine's Day?" My reply: a vitrectomy. Hmmm...}
I made these cute little heart-shaped treats:
& my mister and I went out for coffee:
Then, my mister made us dinner ~> heart-shaped French toast!
{Thank you, Mistopher. I'm sorry I complained about the mess! I love you, and I'm incredibly grateful that you love us enough to make us dinner!}
I hope you & your special someone have had a Happy Valentine's Day!
