"What's Your Favorite Color?"
(by Living Colour)
Y'all may have seen a few pictures from our first Bowl Games of the summer...
As in years past, the students were divided up into four different colored teams. Some of us are always on the same team, like Caleb and me. Even though our red team has rarely won, we are loyal to our color! This year, though, Daniel (the man of the house where we had the crawfish boil) was my co-leader! He tatted up my knuckles for me... ;)
We've had Bowl Games with water and yucky stuff, but this was our first one with colored corn starch!
We played a little game of Battleship on the volleyball court...
There was also a modified version of Rock Paper Scissors, where the winners got to throw color on the losers...
Another game was Omniball, which was sorta like Ultimate Frisbee...
And then there was a game that's hard to describe...
{it involved kid pools that were used as shields}
The following couple of pics were taken about half-way through the night...
{This is when Daniel said that I looked like I had been snorting Smurf!} :P
The final round took place in the bowl (aka retention pond), and the goal was to use up all of our team's color on the other teams. I ended up with color all over me...
...but my team managed to win the whole thing!
Seriously, y'all...Red Team won! That has only happened one other time in Bowl Games history (over the last few summers), so we were pretty excited!!
Julie & Nicole had the brilliant idea to cover themselves with trash bags to keep their vehicle clean...
I should've done the same, because this is what my seat looked like after driving home:
It was a super fun night! Have you had fun with color lately??
