"Home"

(by JOHNNYSWIM)

I'm still getting over jet lag and a bit of a cold, but I didn't want to let another weekend go by without a post. Plus, I don't think I've posted any JOHNNYSWIM, and you really need to hear them (if you haven't already)!

Because I need to go to bed, I'll just get down to it...these are the highlights of my last week or so:

My teammates & I wore our saris on the Sunday after we got back from India!

{If we do this enough, we might eventually learn how to put them on properly!}

I managed to fill Lola's tank for super cheap!

My friends speak my love language and showered me with yummy goodness one day! Lindsay & Kim brought me coffee, and Jana brought me toffee from a trip she recently took to Tennessee {Hey Brooke! ΓΌ}

Baby girl & I went shopping and out to lunch yesterday...

Then we went to Cody & Ike's basketball game...

{They won!!}

And then we saw another high school play that a couple of our friends were involved in. This one was much less weird & way easier to understand than the last one, so we give it a thumb's up! :)

Laurien joined our family for pizza & movie night on Friday (really just the girls because Chris took Cody to basketball practice), I enjoyed visiting with a new church friend at a Ladies Night Out this week, and we went to Brian & Jana's to watch some commercials & a little football game tonight. I didn't think to take any pictures of those things, though.

That about sums up the good stuff. I hope y'all are doing well, and I look forward to catching up on your blog posts soon!

Love the saris. At this rate you can have your own High School play review show. Like Ebert and Roper, or whoever does that now. And by the way, If you read the post I wrote called "what am I doing" then you'll know a little more details, but basically I am trying to take my blog to the next level and I am writing a lot more. Don't feel like you have to read all of that! I definitely want to stay connected through blogging (always and forever!), but I just don't want you to feel pressured when you are in a busy season, or out of town like you have been.
